Through the Blue Portal
He lifts a small glass to the cobalt door, Where silent planets drift beyond the frame. Blue steps ascend; the air becomes a shore, And thought goes roaming, hungry for a name. Around him float the spheres of measured time, In muted hush, a world of rounded light. He stands alone; the distance feels sublime, And searches further, turning night to sight.
