Sunlit Surf & Peppermint

Beneath the palm’s slow sway, her bright cap holds the sun, She tastes the sea on lips where peppermint has spun. A surfboard, citrus-bright, leans close against her side, While foam writes fleeting vows where salt and light collide. Her gaze is summer’s hush, yet edged with salted fire, As waves keep time with dreams that never quite retire. She stands where sky turns blue to turquoise, clear and wide, And sweetness meets the surf, a tide she will not hide.
