Cappadocia

This vintage travel poster captures the surreal landscape of Cappadocia in Turkey. Dozens of colourful hot air balloons drift over the ancient fairy chimney rock valleys during a soft sunrise. The illustration features pale carved cave dwellings set against a dreamy palette of peach and lavender tones.

The morning sun ascends above the ancient stone, Where carved and hollow rocks wait silent and alone. A fleet of silken globes now drifts upon the breeze, Above the valleys carved by time with gentle ease. The lavender and gold embrace the waking light, As pastel colours bloom to grace the morning sight. The desert dwelling waits in peace within the haze, A timeless wonder lost inside a golden maze.
